We’re delighted to announce that we are the winners of this year’s Ipswich Independents Business Award!

Each year the award is run by Ipswich Central and is supported by the Ipswich Star newspaper, who allow the general public to vote for their favourite local business within the town. Voters used the All About Ipswich website as a platform to submit their votes, and we are delighted to win this year, having come a close runner-up in 2013.

After receiving near 3000 votes in this years competition, it was understood that the finalists were then “mystery shopped” by the judges to determine who would crown the award this year – in our case, it was a mystery dining experience.

Semra Avcikaya, the Alaturka Restaurant Manager has said

“in the restaurant, you have to keep moving forward. We are always trying to make things better. Our customers are great supporters and will be very happy for us. We couldn’t have done it without their support.”

The award is now proudly on display within our restaurant and we look forward to welcoming new customers that may have heard our news and be driven to come in and try our fantastic turkish food in our relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
